Kinakain ba ang Globe Load mo? HASSEL DI BA?!

Yup. After the Nth time, I am finally ranting on my Cnet Asia blog. And yes I'm ranting here as well because I want to find out if this is really as widespread as our dear Senators claim to be and if it is indeed isolated to just Globe or are other Telcos just as guilty.

I've been a Globe and Smart prepaid user for quite a while now. The main reason I maintain two prepaid numbers is quite simple: it's cheaper to call and SMS people in the same network. Lately however, I've been using my Globe prepaid less and less due to a number of problems with the network.

First of all, the disappearing load. That has got to be the single, most inconvenient and frustrating thing ever. Me and my friends load 20 bucks to our prepaid numbers, and the second load confirmation arrives and we do a balance check (which is free thank God), there is only 15 or 17 bucks left on the account. What the hell? I was about to register for a prepaid SMS service but I never got past that part because my load was short 3 bucks. Same thing happened with my girlfriend the other day when she loaded 20 on her phone, there was only 17.50 in her account when she did a balance inquiry.
