Ateneo (ADMU) now Outranks UP in the World's Best Universities Ranking. De La Salle University (DLSU) Nowhere to be found in the top 400 overall

Times Higher Education World Universities Ranking 2008 is out!

Ateneo now outranks UP, though both schools made huge improvements from last year’s result.

2007 2008
UP 398th Ateneo 254th
Ateneo 451st UP 276th

Ateneo and UP also made it to the top 100 in two categories:

Academic Review (Arts & Humanites)

Ateneo 79th
UP 82nd

Employers Review (Graduates Employability)

Ateneo 76th
UP 82nd
La Salle 92nd

La Salle and UST didn’t make it to the over-all top 400.

Congratulations!
( and hopefully, more Philippines schools will be recognized next year.)

Which is why I was saying... the greenies should focus on more important matters, and not such trivial things like 'a little bonfire'.

And I'm gloating. Gloat. Gloat. Gloat. Kick 'em when they're down I say.

What's this Fascination with Celebrity Bloggers? O_O

Wrote about blogging eklavu again in my Cnet blog (hmmm blogging about blogging... IS THERE NOTHING SACRED?!). Anyway, was linked to Miriam Quiambao's Blog and then got me thinking of all the local celebs that have been making the rounds already.

Hey folks! In case you're not doing anything tom morning around 10AM, I'll be interviewed by TJ Manotoc and co. in their morning show, Tech Talk over at ANC.

Actually, I'll be talking about Filipinos uploading 1M photos everyday in Multiply, about the 12M or 2-point-something Filipino users in Friendster traffic daily,  about the more than 30% increase in blog readership in the Philippines over the past year and about the 9 out of 10 Filipinos online who watch Moymoy Palaboy.
